The new Parque das Baleias (Whale Park) floating manufacturing, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel which is heading to Brazil might be outfitted with Sulzer water injection pumps.

Sulzer will provide 4 packaged pump units, which embrace a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all of the auxiliary tools required for the challenging offshore surroundings.
Due to be positioned 77 km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will operate in 1,400 m deep waters, processing 100,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of pure gasoline per day. First oil on deck is focused by 2024.
